Razvan Panaitescu is the manager of the Application Development and Mechatronic Support Department within Siemens Energy and Automation, Production Machines business unit. Before joining Siemens he held professor tenures and research positions in Electric Drives and Control Engineering at various Universities in Romania, Norway and USA. He has a PhD and Master degrees in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor degree in Economics. More

Stefan Wolpert is pursuing his Bachelors of Science in electrical and computer engineering at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering in Needham, MA. He plans to focus on electrical hardware and software integration at Olin College, and may pursue a future graduate degree in systems engineering. He interned in the engineering department at Lehigh Cement and prior to that ran a local computer repair business. He has always had a mechanical knack, but has been drawn into the electrical world. Stefan is an avid skier and pianist. More
